Release the hounds!
So, a ton of new developments have been going on under the hood at Vidoop, and specifically, at myVidoop. We’ve been working on our new version, which will take us out of private beta, and into full-tilt open beta! So for those of you who have been waiting to share myVidoop with your friends, that time is about to come.
In anticipation, I’m gonna share with you just a few of the things that you can expect to see at myVidoop in the next few weeks.
- Interface Revamp –
At Vidoop, we are constantly ignoring the gap between security and ease-of-use. Does it really need to exist? We don’t think so.We’ve been having a lot of usability discussions here, and we’ve infused our next release with loads of user-centric love. We’ve been listening to feedback and we’ve created a new extensive help section. Be on the lookout for screencasts for our most exciting features, too.
- Security Control –
What else could you expect from your favorite internet security company? You now have the ability to increase the images in your grid, require that your image categories be entered in the correct sequence, control what other image categories will always appear in your grid, and more. - Notifications –
Okay, we went a little crazy and you now have complete auditing control over your account.Want to get a text message when there have been 10 failed logins in less than 10 minutes? Okay.
Want to get e-mailed everytime a new computer is activated? Sure.
Need us to alert you if there are 50 OpenID relier logins within an hour? Done.
Don’t want to be bothered no matter what happens? That’s okay too.The sky is the limit with this new tool.
- Much, much more –
This is quickly becoming less of a quick intro, so I’ll save more features for later, but lets just say that we’ve designed a lot of features that allow you to control your account via your cell phone.

Stay tuned. We’re pretty excited.
