Good times keep rollin’ along at Vidoop’s Portland Office
After a fun filled week in San Francisco getting learn-ed on the Web 2.0 we are back in the Silicon Forest aka Portland. So far (other than the weather) this week is shaping up nicely.
Aaron Hockley’s post about only using OpenID has been a great catalyst for discussion. Specifically what is going on in Portland with regards to OpenID? Well we have worked with the Silicon Florist himself and have a short list of OpenID enabled/related sites that are based here in PDX. Keep an eye on the Silicon Florist blog for more info on that subject.
Besides the great weather the other reason for being in Portland in May is BarCampPortland! Vidoop is proud to sponsor what will be an excellent BarCamp, and also hopes to get a shirt. Thanks to the Legion Of Tech and everyone else who have been working to bring this event to fruition. Luke Sontag and some other Vidoop people will be in town and will be attending. Also my father unit flew all the way down from Alaska to catch the happenings on Friday… besides muh dad David Recordon will also be making an appearance!
Oh and our own Michael Richardson will be plague free (hopefully) and heading back down to SF and Moscone Center (he cant get enough of that place) to help out with OpenIDDevCamp being hosted at Sun’s CommunityOne developer conference on May 5th.
Whew…
