A technical writer draws near! Command?
Wait a sec, who’s this guy? As Vidoop’s newly tapped blogger and technical writer, I suppose it’s probably prudent to begin with an introduction, if for no other reason than to give you an idea of who I am and where to toss rocks should the need arise. Just make sure they are labeled correctly. You can call me Jason.
As an MIS graduate, it’s safe to say that while writing is not the primary discipline of my degree, it is nonetheless my passion. After spending just over five years handling ERP security for a major corporation in Colorado, good fortune has allowed me to write professionally for the last couple of years within the so-called blogsphere for a variety of outlets in the video game space. And while this certainly was an fascinating and volatile industry with which to align myself, when the opportunity was presented to come and join the team at Vidoop…well it was simply too good to pass up.
We’re tremendously excited with what we’re putting together with Vidoop, and one of the chief things that we’re attempting to do with this blog is to open up a dialog and discuss some of the things we’re working on here, as well as address some of your questions and concerns.
This is an exciting time, and I look forward to keeping you informed about all of the happenings here at Vidoop, as well as within the larger OpenID and internet security space. But most of all I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on Vidoop and what we’re doing. If you’re skeptical, I want to hear about it, but I’m equally excited to hear from those of you who are as excited as we are with the developments in this space. This is your pedestal as much as it is mine, and I want to hear from you. Or if you just want to have a place to throw that rock. I’m good for that too.
