Vidoop at Data Sharing Summit 2008

Just a quick post to let everyone know about some cool upcoming events, The Data Sharing Workshop and the Data Sharing Summit 2008. These are great community centric events that bring together people from several walks of on-line life; social networking, identity folks, data portability, etc.

“The goal of these events is to work together to build consensus around and get adoption of emerging data sharing standards. As with the previous summit, the upcoming event will follow the open space (un)conference format. The agenda is created on the first day of the event, allowing everyone to participate in the discussion. “

Scott Kveton and Luke Sontag (also on the board of advisors) will be in attendance, so corner them with any Vidoop or OpenID related questions!

The Data Sharing Workshop is going to be held in downtown San Francisco from Friday, April 18 to Saturday, April 19, and the Data Sharing Summit is taking place on Thursday, May 15 at the Computer History Museum; registration for the summit and all other event information is on Upcoming.
