Happy Birthday Vidoop

Today marks the second year in Vidoop history and what an exciting two years it has been. We’ve managed to hire some of the best talent in the industry and launched what I believe to be a truly innovative technology called Vidoop ImageShield which is already being used by fortune 500 companies. More recently we’ve launched our well received myVidoop affiliate program, our myVidoop plug-in that allows people to say goodbye to passwords once and for all and we’ve started a second office in Portland.

A bit of advice I’ll share to any one else thinking about building a web startup is don’t be afraid to stick your foot in places it doesn’t belong. Sometimes you end up sticking it in your mouth, but other times it gets you into doors that present opportunities that would have otherwise been missed. It’s true that it’s hard to get large corporations and internet giants to pay attention when your name isn’t all over main stream media, but if your technology speaks for itself, they’ll listen.

I wish I could express to everyone reading this how excited I am to be a part of Vidoop’s history and how much I look forward to watching it’s extremely bright future unfold.

Good remarks, Steven. You and I have certainly witnessed a wealth of change since the early days of Vidoop. To go from an idea to partnering with some of the largest financial service companies in the world is an amazing feat.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the talented individuals here, in engineering, sales, business development, and evangelism. We’ve had the good fortune of hiring people who are committed to making Vidoop a success.

This next year should bring even more exciting developments for Vidoop. It’s great to be a part of such an awesome company. Viva Vidoop!
